As controller for SB Partners, Julia Lio brings over 15 years of accounting and finance experience—seven of those as a controller—to the administrative team. She has a BBA from Moscow University, and has achieved her CGA as well as certification as an NLP Master Practitioner (Communication, Negotiation and Coaching).
As the corporate officer responsible for SB Partners’ accounting activities, Julia oversees all financial matters for the firm. From financial planning and budgeting to statements and internal controls, Julia is involved in nearly all management activities.
“My role has a great deal of legal and financial responsibility,” says Julia. “The high standards and dedication to excellence I bring to the SB Partners team is a testament to the same high level of service we bring to every client interaction.”
Julia has experience in a range of industries, including banking, mutual funds, distribution, service, and the biotech sector. Her excellent analytical and problem-solving skills complement her outstanding technical skills.
Julia has drawn on her personal interest in photography to volunteer as Treasurer for the Oakville Camera Club. When she’s not behind the camera, she can be found pursuing her other passions: yoga, art and life coaching.
