Michael Kee has developed a reputation providing high-quality advice on assurance, consulting and personal and corporate taxation at SB Partners. Michael’s clients appreciate his breadth of knowledge when it comes to identifying taxation and financial issues and opportunities. It is this well-rounded background that enables Michael to provide clients with a wide range of needs.
His clients represent a variety of sectors including transportation, wholesaling, manufacturing and non-profit organizations. In addition to his strong tax and assurance background, Michael has regularly worked in acquisitions, having played a key role in numerous due diligence engagements for the firm’s clients.
Thanks to his contributions within the firm, Michael understands the importance of crafting a plan to tackle his clients’ needs. Responsiveness and a collaborative approach are often the keys to gaining confidence and achieving a sense of control in the face of pressing issues.
“When you have had the opportunity to develop systems within your own organization, you understand the importance of considering many factors when implementing a plan. Michael has been a guest lecturer at McMaster University to students considering a career as a CA, and highlights the value and role of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants. He also recently completed a four-year term as one of two inaugural citizen members of the City of Burlington Audit Committee.
